With the release of Valorant's patch 8.11 being just around the corner, fans are incredibly excited to try out the game's new map Abyss.
Despite Riot Games teasing Abyss since the start of Episode 8 Act 2, fans didn't know much about it before today. The only real clue was that the map will take place in an underground location.
However, a first look is already out now that the map was officially revealed on the last day of VCT Masters Shanghai. The trailer shows what seems to be a raid performed by Omen, Clove, and Iso on the new map.
In the video, we can see some of the parts that will be included in Abyss, with Clove mentioning a site called Library. The location seems to be ancient and full of historical pieces that could reveal more information about the past of Valorant and its agents.
Here is the trailer in case you haven't seen it:
Interestingly, Valorant's official trailer for Abyss may include a teaser for Valorant's next agent. At the end of the video, we can see how some stray bullets clash on what looks like some kind of portal located outside the playable map.
However, it may be more than that. The stray shots left a few bullet holes in what, after having a closer look, seems to be a container. Inside of it, we can see the shape of some claws moving. A new agent may have been awakened.
