Rainbow Six Siege released an update regarding Year 8's Roadmap, including information about upcoming buffs, changes, and new features coming to the game.
Fortunately, today's Ubisoft blog post confirmed that everything is going smoothly. "Today's update is mainly to confirm that everything announced for Season 3 will be released as planned."
As we get close to the end of Operation Dread Factor, players start to think about what's to come in the upcoming weeks.
Here's everything that Ubisoft announced today!
Quick Match 2.0
Back in February, during the celebration of the Six Invitational 2023, Ubisoft announced the concept of Quick Match 2.0. The idea is "to speed up the playlist, making it more agile without affecting the Siege experience." This change should give a better playing experience to the casual player.
Player Commendation System
Just like the Reputation System, the Player Commendation System "will promote community recognition and encourage pro-social behavior."
Rainbow Six Siege is clearly working on stopping the toxicity in the game, which is very important to control in a daily basis.
Ubisoft has also announced "improvements" for the Reputation System which will affect how the system calculates the behaviour of the player.
Grim Buff Part 2
With Operation Dread Factor, Grim got a buff that made him more playable. He got a better loadout and an improvement to his gadget. Now, Ubisoft has confirmed another buff for the Singaporean operator.
This update was expected to come to Rainbow Six Siege in Y8S4, but it will come in the next operation!
Frost Rework
Frost's Rework will come in Y8S3. It will affect her gadget, as the attackers will be able to withstand without the help of their teammates.
However, the affected attacker will leave a blood trail and will be slowed down.
Free Camera Update
With this update, players will be allowed to hide the HUD while using the Match Replay feature. How cool is that?
