Wolves Esports have been eliminated from the Six Invitational 2023 after a 1-2 loss to G2 Esports in the lower bracket quarter-finals. As such, G2 move onto the lower bracket semi-final, where they will play the winner between Astralis and KOI.

The match today started on Wolves' map pick of Bank, where G2 took a 3-3 half on the defence. However, Wolves left G2 behind in the second half and did not allow them a single round, winning multiple clutches and taking a 7-3 map.

Skyscraper started with G2 on the attack, where they struggled to win more than their two rounds. However, despite Wolves going up 4-2 at the half, G2 started bringing it back and hit back with a confident 7-4.

With the back-and-forth on the first two maps, few would have expected the decider map to have been as one-sided as it was. G2 started off well on the defence and never looked back, surging to a 6-0 lead in no time. While Wolves put up some resistance on their defense, winning two rounds, their defenses were nowhere as strong as G2's and they lost 2-7.

Wolves will now be spectators for the next two days, while G2 continue on in their pursuit of lifting the Six Invitational caber.
