What’s Weapon Roulette?
Weapon Roulette is a Rainbow Six Siege game mode added to the Arcade playlist with the release of Operation Heavy Mettle.
Weapon Roulette follows Team Deathmatch rules as the game mode includes infinite respawn. However, this game mode has a special characteristic: regardless of the operator chosen, the players will always have the same gun.
As the name suggests, the weapon and the attachments used change every 45 seconds. This will create very fast games and will force the players to adapt to every weapon and every attachment in the game.
Weapon Roulette - Maps
Weapon Roulette will have a map pool of seven maps, including the following:
- Close Quarter
- Stadium Bravo
- Favela
- Nighthaven Labs
- Theme Park
- Villa
- Coastline
Most of these maps aren’t played much on Ranked, with Stadium Bravo and Nighthaven Labs being two of the most banned maps in Rainbow Six Siege. While playing Weapon Roulette, Ranked players will be forced to learn the maps to get the best out of the game mode’s experience!
Weapon Roulette - Operators
There are no operator limitations in Weapon Roulette. Regardless of each operator traits, every player will move like a three-speed operator. Moreover, every operator will be able to use a knife and an impact grenade. The operators' special abilities will be disabled for the whole match.
