The Bulls knocked out Team Liquid of the Esports World Cup after two 7-5 wins on Nighthaven Labs and Chalet. It's the Brazilian organization's return to a Rainbow Six Siege international grand final after the departure of the Six Invitational 2024 champion roster, which signed for FURIA Esports shortly after being crowned world champions.
This is Team Liquid's third defeat against w7m esports this season, as the Brazilians had previously lost to them at the Brazil League 2024 Stage 1 and the Super Copa do Brasil.
On the other hand, this will be the first international grand final for the former LOS core since the team's second-place finish at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. Back then, the Brazilians lost to w7m esports. Less than a year later, they will represent the Bull organization at the grand final of the Esports World Cup.
Curiously enough, the Brazilians could clash with FURIA Esports in the tournament's grand final. For that to happen, the current world champions must defeat Team BDS in the second semi-final match of the day.
Meanwhile, this is Team Liquid's second international semi-final defeat since the start of the season, as they also reached the Top 4 at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. Despite the Blue Cavalry's international consistency, the team's last international championship was collected in December 2019.
