Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass: Release Date

Episode 8 Act 1 of Valorant is expected to be released on Jan. 10, as announced by Valorant's official blog post. The time of the update is expected to be 7 PM ET (12 AM GMT).

This will be the first Episode released since the launch of Episode 7 Act 3, which included the 23rd agent Iso. Two months and a half after his arrival in Valorant, it's now time to welcome a new Episode.

Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass: Price

While there hasn't been any official announcement, we expect Valorant Episode 8 Act 1's Battle Pass to cost 1,000 Valorant Points. This is the equivalent to 10 euros. Unfortunately, Battle Passes can't be purchased with Kingdom Credits.

Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass: Gun Skins

Recently, the famous leaker @ValorLeaks posted multiple screenshots including some of the skins that will be included in Episode 8 Act 1 of Valorant.

The initial reactions by the community have been quite mixed and there seems to be no middle ground: either you love them or you hate them.

Fiber Optic Skinline

The Fiber Optic Skinline has been welcomed with open arms by the Valorant community. With some fine details and four different colors, the Fiber Optic Skinline includes skins for the Classic, Marshal, Spectre, and Ghost.

Guardrail Skinline

The Guardrail Skinline is a very plain cosmetic that combines black and golden shades. Other than that, the cosmetics aren't special. The skin looks a bit empty as it lacks details.

Tactiplay Skinline

Without a doubt, the Tactiplay Skinline is the cosmetic that feels most unique. It's a funny, comical skin. However, it's not the first set in Valorant that resembles a toy gun. If you already have a bundle like the Radiant Crisis 001 Espectre, you may not see the point of collecting the Tactiplay Skinline.

Guardrail Hammer

The Guardrail Hammer is just that, a hammer. The skin is the same as the previously mentioned Guardrail Skinline.

Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass: Playercards

Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass will include 13 different Playercards, with some of them including multiple teases regarding the future of Valorant.

First, Omen's Playercard includes a small peak of Valorant's new weapon, the Outlaw Sniper, which will fire two bullets at a time. Shockingly, the rumors say that the gun will kill half-armored players with a single shot.

At the same time, the previously mentioned @ValorLeaks mentioned that there will be a small teaser regarding the agent that will be released in Episode 8 Act 2, which will be released in March.

Other Playercards will include Iso, Neon, Jett, and even a throwback to the dab era when doing the dab was cool and not weird.

Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass: Sprays

Last but not least, let's have a look at the Spray animations included in the Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 Battle Pass.

Sage, Chamber, and Jett have taken over the Spray category. However, Killjoy's animated Spray has been the community's favorite.
