Ubisoft today announced the broadcast talent and schedule for the upcoming Jönköping Major, which will run from Nov. 21 to 27.

Schedule

The event will start on Nov. 21 at 10:30 AM CET (UTC+1) with the Soniqs vs MNM Gaming match on the Rainbow6 channel (Stream A) and CYCLOPS athlete gaming vs Black Dragons on the Rainbow6Bravo channel (Stream B).

Each group stage day will run from 10:30 AM to approximately 8:50 PM CET, with the final game set to start at 7:50 PM.

The playoffs, held in Jönköping at a distinct area at the DreamHack Winter 2022 event, will commence after a break on Nov. 24 and will run from Nov. 25 to 27. These playoffs will be open to the public, unlike the group stage.

Broadcast talent

The broadcast talent will feature many familiar names, including James "Devmarta" Stewart and Mandy "Daughter" Powers, both of whom cast at a Major for the first time at the Berlin Major in Aug. 2022.

Fan favourite Iain Chambers will be returning as a host, while Anne "FastAnne" Janssen will make her debut at a Major on the analyst desk after having worked on the English-language APAC North and EUL analyst desks this stage. She had first worked at an international LAN event at the Six Invitational 2022 earlier this year, also in Sweden.

The big name debut, however, will undoubtedly be that of former Giants Gaming, eUnited, and Fnatic player Léo "Alphama" Robine. The Frenchman, who played in EU, NA, and APAC, retired from competitive Siege play at the start of this year after Fnatic dropped their former APAC North roster at the end of 2021.

However, Alphama now returns to competitive Siege an analyst for the Major in another boost to the broadcast team and will be the second former pro player at this event, alongside player-turned-caster Niclas "Pengu" Mouritzen.
