Top 10 Players of Year 7: Honorable Mentions

Here are our honorable mentions for Year 7!

As all of the players in SiegeGG's Year 7 Top 10 have now been named, it's time to know this year's Honorable Mentions!

  Alem4o

Karl "Alem4o" Zarth joined G2 Esports for the 2022 season as an important part of the team's newest "super-team". Although the pieces didn't fit together instantly, the European powerhouse qualified for the initial two Six Majors of the year and topped off the year with a Six Invitational 2023 victory.

The Brazilian IGL was extremely important for G2 Esports. His best performances came at the Berlin Major, where he got a SiegeGG Rating of 1.15, and at the Six Invitational 2023, where he registered a Rating of 1.10. Moreover, he was one of the EVPs in Montreal, Canada.

  CTZN

Ben "CTZN" McMillan spent the whole season playing as a G2 Esports player, however, he ended the season with Soniqs. He was the second-best player for the North American lineup at the Six Invitational 2023.

With G2 Esports this season, CTZN was the best-rated player in the Berlin Major with a SiegeGG rating of 1.31. He was also the best player in the European League Stage 1, with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.29.

  Cyber

Although Jaime "Cyber" Ramos missed out on the first Six Major of the year, his performances at the Berlin Major, the Jönköping Major, and the Six Invitational 2023 were enough to put him near the top 10 for Year 7.

First, Cyber impressed everyone in Germany as he reached the grand finals with FaZe Clan, where they lost against Rogue. He finished with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.15 and was named one of the EVPs in the tournament. Uf the Brazilians had won the tournament, he could have ended as the competition's MVP.

After going quiet at the Jönköping Major, Cyber redeemed himself with the seventh-best rating in the competition -- a revamping SiegeGG rating of 1.15 after 13 maps played.

  DiasLucas

Lucas "DiasLucas" Dias' performances at international competitions have been outstanding throughout Year 7. At the Six Charlotte Major, he got a SiegeGG Rating of 1.17, the fourth-best in the tournament. In Berlin, he was the best on XSET with a Rating of 1.10. Finally, at the Six Invitational 2023, he got a SiegeGG Rating of 1.17 after 18 maps played.

His consistency at international competitions deserves a shoutout at the honorable mentions for Year 7.

  HerdsZ

Another of the standouts from w7m esports, Gustavo "HerdsZ" Herdina deserved some praise after the bulls' outstanding year. HerdsZ ended the season with style as the Brazilian was named EVP at the Jönköping Major and the Six Invitational 2023. His SiegeGG Ratings at both events clocked in at a high pair of 1.21 and 1.13, respectively.

  Iconic

Despite not being in the scene anymore, Astralis had a great year after reaching the Charlotte Major grand finals and finishing in the Six Invitational 2023 top six. David "Iconic" Ifidon was one of the most recognizable faces on the roster and was named EVP of the Charlotte Major.

His consistency in both international and regional competitions was also very important for the North American roster.

  Panbazou

Roberto "Panbazou" Feliciano started the season on the right foot as he won the Charlotte Major with DarkZero Esports. He was also named the tournament's MVP.

However, the purple squad missed out on the Berlin Major and the Jönköping Major. At the Six Invitational 2023, he was a crucial part of DarkZero Esports before the team was sent home by the eventual champions of G2 Esports.

  Yuzus

Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard showed great consistency in the European League 2022, averaging a SiegeGG Rating of 1.16. Eventually, Yuzus would reach the European League 2022 grand finals after defeating Wolves Esports 2-0.

At the Six Invitational 2023, Yuzus was one of the best players in MNM Gaming as he averaged a SiegeGG Rating of 1.15. The roster went undefeated in the initial group stage but was sent home early after losing the team's first two games in the bracket.
