After yesterday's action is time to have a look at today's must-watch matches of the Six Invitational 2023.

Note: All the games start from 10AM (UTC -5)

10AM - Wolves Esports vs Soniqs

Soniqs' start to the Six Invitational 2023 was excellent. The American lineup comfortably defeated Team Liquid to top the standings of Group B.

It was also Ben "CTZN" McMillan's long-awaited debut for Soniqs, with the British player finishing with the second-best SiegeGG Rating in the team -- a 1.11 Rating with an entry balance of 5-0 (+5).

Heading into the second day of the group stage, Soniqs are now the favorites to finish in first place. Today, the roster will face Wolves Esports following the pack's poor performance against MNM Gaming.

Looking at Six Invitational 2023 stats so far, four of Wolves Esports' members finished among the 10 worst-rated players.

So far this season, Wolves Esports are yet to win a BO3 series, with yesterday's defeat being the fourth of its kind. The Frenchmen lost to XSET by 0-2 at the Berlin Major, which was followed by a 0-2 defeat against Team BDS at the Jönköping Major and another 0-2 defeat against MNM Gaming at the EUL Finals.

Meanwhile, Soniqs look as good as ever. The Stage 3 signings Emilio "Geometrics" Leynez and Shaun "Gunnar" Pottorff have clearly adapted to the roster, with Ben "CTZN" McMillan's signing completing the roster in the perfect way.

1PM - G2 Esports vs w7m esports

G2 Esports kicked things off right in the team's return to the Six Invitational with a 2-1 victory against KOI. Meanwhile, w7m esports defeated Elevate to climb up to the top of Group A's standings.

Both organizations first met at the Charlotte Major, where the Brazilians had to compete from Mexico. Despite the ping complications, the bulls defeated the European side twice by 8-6 and 7-4 scores. However, G2 Esports finished above w7m esports following the Brazilians' performances against Heroic.

Much has changed since then and w7m esports are now not only one of the favorites to top the standings of Group A but also to lift the hammer. The Brazilians' group stage record at international competitions since the Berlin Major stands at 13-0-1-0, with their only loss coming against Wolves Esports in Aug. 2022.

Jack "Doki" Robertson was G2 Esports' best player of Day 1, with the Scotsman getting 22 kills on Villa. With a SiegeGG Rating of 1.33, he currently is the seventh-best-rated player in the competition.

Meanwhile, Gustavo "HerdsZ" Herdina got the fifth-best Rating of Day 1, a 1.38 while facing Elevate.

4PM - DarkZero Esports vs FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan and DarkZero Esports meeting at some point during a Six Invitational is a classic. In 2020 and 2021, both teams faced off in the group stage, with the Americans taking the first match (2-1) and the Brazilians the second (7-4). Last year, both squads met at the Six Invitational 2022 Lower Bracket Round 3, with the Brazilians winning 2-0.

Both teams are in different situations now. While DarkZero kicked things off right with a 2-1 victory against Heroic, the Brazilians lost to M80 1-2. Considering the caliber of the teams in Group D, FaZe Clan need to score points today even though they should be far superior to Team Secret and Heroic.

Lucas "soulz1" Schinke was FaZe Clan's best player yesterday, with the Brazilian scoring a SiegeGG Rating of 1.31. DarkZero Esports' best player in the Six Invitational 2023 so far, Nick "njr" Rapier, is just behind the Brazilian with a Rating of 1.30.
