Ubisoft today unveiled the Six Invitational 2023 bracket after five days of a grueling group stage ended yesterday.
All of APAC -- Elevate, Dire Wolves, and CYCLOPS athlete gaming -- were eliminated, alongside the lowest-ranked team at the event, Europe's Team Secret.
Bracket
Format
The playoffs will feature a double-elimination bracket that will be BO3 all the way until the BO5 grand-final, which will not have any map advantage.
The top team in each group -- KOI, MNM Gaming, M80, and LOS oNe -- will head straight to the second round in the upper bracket. Meanwhile the second-placed teams -- G2 Esports, Soniqs, Team BDS, and Heroic -- will head to the first round of the upper bracket.
The second-placed teams got to pick their opponents in that first upper bracket round. Those teams will be the third-placed ones from the group stage -- w7m esports, Wolves Esports, Oxygen Esports, and DarkZero Esports.
Meanwhile, the fourth placed teams -- Spacestation Gaming, Team Liquid, Astralis, and FaZe Clan -- will head to the first round in the lower bracket.
