Here's everything you need to know about what's happening on the first day of the Six Invitational 2023!

M80 defeats FaZe Clan after one-sided Theme Park

After comfortably winning on Oregon by 7-2 and losing on Chalet after playing fifteen rounds, M80 got three points out of their clash with FaZe Clan after defeating the Brazilians by 7-3 on Theme Park.

DarkZero Esports completes comback against Heroic

After losing the first map of the series, DarkZero Esports defeated Heroic by 2-1 following a 7-4 victory on Theme Park.

M80 and FaZe Clan's third map of the series is still being played, as the Nord American League squad is currently 3-0 ahead of FaZe Clan on Theme Park.

DarkZero Esports and Heroic will have to play for a third time today as the series will be decided on Theme Park. 

M80 takes Oregon against FaZe Clan

After winning five attacking rounds on Oregon, M80 didn't have much trouble defeating FaZe Clan in what was the North American squad's pick.

The second match of the series will be played on Chalet.

Heroic defeats DarkZero Esports on Border

Heroic's debut at the Six Invitational has ended with a 7-5 victory on Border against DarkZero Esports. Now, both teams head to Chalet, the second map of the series.

FaZe Clan's last Six Invitational debut with a win dates back to 2019

FaZe Clan usually doesn't start the Six Invitational with a win since their victory against NiP at the Six Invitational 2019. Since then:

Oxygen Esports wins against Astralis following first map loss

Oxygen Esports have won the match against Astralis after losing the first map of the series on Border by 6-8.

After victories on Bank (7-3) and Kafe (7-5), the green roster takes the three points, while Astralis will get one.

CAG defeats Team BDS in first Six Invitational 2023 upset

CYCLOPS athlete gaming have defeated the Six Jönköping Major champions by 2-1. The Japanese side completed a surprising comeback after losing Skyscraper by 7-3.

Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu's superb performance couldn't prevent the team from falling against the Japanese roster. The Frenchman registered a SiegeGG rating of 1.45 and got 39 kills while maining Iana and Azami.

Oxygen Esports takes Bank to force map three against Astralis

Oxygen Esports successfully forced the third map of the series after defeating Astralis on Bank by 7-3. Previously, Astralis had defeated Oxygen Esports on Border by 8-6.

CAG takes Border, sends BDS to map three!

The Japanese have upset the Six Jönköping Major champions Team BDS with a 4-7 victory against the Frenchmen. 

CAG's great answer to a Team BDS rush on round 10 was followed by a comfortable defense on Bathroom/Tellers.

Despite losing to Team BDS on Skyscraper by 7-3, CYCLOPS athlete gaming are on the verge of sending the Six Jönköping Major champions to Theme Park. 

Astralis takes Border 8-6

Astralis have kicked off the Six Invitational 2023 with the right food as the team have secured the first map of the series against Oxygen Esports. Bank will be the next map.

They started on the attack and managed a 3-3 half, which they converted easily against CAG's attacks.

Soniqs take it 2-0 against Team Liquid

The North Americans never looked like they were going to lose, as Rexen is their hero this time with 14 kills and seven deaths.

Soniqs take the second map, Chalet, 7-4 and win the series 2-0.

Team Liquid have banned Flores and Melusi, while Soniqs banned Ying and Solis.

MNM Gaming roast Wolves Esports 2-0

MNM take Clubhouse even more dominantly, winning 7-2 for a 2-0 overall series win.

At the halfway mark of the first map, Villa, both Soniqs and Liquid have three rounds won.

CTZN is excellent for his new team, having seven kills to two deaths at this point.

Wolves banned Dokkaebi and Mira, while MNM banned Iana and Valkyrie.

Shiinka finished with zero kills to nine deaths, while risze only had one kill to eight deaths, as MNM won 7-3 on Chalet.

It's not looking good for Wolves Esports, with Shiinka having zero kills in the first half. P4 and risze, too, only have two kills combined.

Meanwhile, Solotov has nine kills to just two deaths alone. All of Wolves together have 12 kills.

Soniqs vs. Team Liquid is underway

We start on Villa, where Team Liquid banned Dokkaebi and Solis. Soniqs banned Flores and Melusi.

The first map is Chalet, followed by Clubhouse and perhaps Kafe.

They won 7-3 and take three points, while KOI only get one point.

KOI won the first half 6-0, but struggled a bit on attack before finally winning the second map 7-4.

They take the win on Clubhouse by the same margin as they won on Kafe, 7-4. As such, they take the full four points from the match and Elevate get zero.

They nearly choked it to a rampaging KOI, but G2 Esports have taken map one, Villa, 7-5 after having been up 6-1.

Elevate vs. w7m heads to Clubhouse

Elevate banned Maverick and Mira, while w7m banned Montagne and Azami.

The Brazilians have won the first map of the series against Elevate, with Gustavo "HerdsZ" Herdina leading his team with 14 kills in 11 rounds.

G2 Esports lead 5-1 against KOI

Both teams are first playing on Villa, with G2 having been on the defense in the first half.

The map they're playing is Kafe, though, and Elevate were on the attack.

Siege debut for KOI as the team faces European rivals G2 Esports

The Six Berlin Major champions are playing against G2 Esports on Rainbow6Bravo. It's KOI's debut in Rainbow Six Siege, as the organization joined the scene after stablishing a partnership with Rogue.

Meanwhile, all eyes are put on G2 Esports' new player Benja "Benjamaster" Derelli, who will make his debut for the European side after joining from Heroic.

The match is a replay of the Six Berlin Major quarter-finals, which saw Rogue victorious after winning by 8-6 and 8-7.

 

Elevate faces w7m esports in Group A's first match

Elevate is back to the international scene after missing out on the Six Jönköping Major. They will face w7m esports, who topped their Six Jönköping Major group with a perfect record of six regulation victories.

This game also took place in Berlin, as both sides met at the Six Berlin Major quarter-finals. Back then, w7m esports won by 2-1.
