SCARZ have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta after defeating NORTHEPTION in the Japan League Deciders' semifinals.
The BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen quarterfinalists finished in second place in Group A after falling against Crest Gaming Lst and defeating Fnatic and CYCLOPS athlete gaming. After winning against FAV Gaming on Saturday, the Japanese confirmed their international return after defeating NORTHEPTION by 8-7, 5-7, and 7-5.
This will be SCARZ's second international appearance ever after their successful debut in Copenhagen. On Oct. 1, the Japanese will play against CYCLOPS athlete gaming to see what team will obtain the region's top seed.
It's worth mentioning that Japan's top seed moves to Phase 2, while the second seed moves to Phase 1. At the same time, the first seed gets 150 SI Points, while the second seed obtains 130 SI Points.
