It's fair to say the anime and the gaming community go hand in hand. Recently, many FPS titles have partnered with successful Japanese shows to produce unique content that leaves the community speechless. A perfect example of that can be found last year, when Overwatch 2 partnered with One Punch Man to release exclusive skins to the game.
Almost a year later, Overwatch 2 is doing it again — although, unfortunately for One Punch Man fans, we won't see Saitama making a return this time. As today, Overwatch 2 unveiled a partnership with Cowboy Bebop.
Cowboy Bebop is a popular Japanese anime that debuted back in 1998, and although the show is over 20 years old now, it's widely considered one of the greatest animes ever. That being the case, Overwatch 2's partnership with Cowboy Bebop has bee welcomed with open arms.
The Cowboy Bebop cosmetics will be released to Overwatch 2 in March 12. This means that players will have to wait one week to purchase the in-game items.
Additionally, Cowboy Bebop and Overwatch 2 have released an adapted introduction of the show featuring some of the game characters as the protagonists of the show.
