Season 4 has arrived and it brought the DNA Bomb as a new killstreak on Modern Warfare 3, so you might be wondering how to get it. This is not the first time we see this streak in a Call of Duty game since it was first introduced in Advanced Warfare, the first title developed mainly by Sledgehammer Games.
Now that it's back, we have gathered all the information you need to know if you are planning to grind the game until you get it.
What is the MW3 DNA bomb?
The DNA bomb is one of the strongest killstreaks available in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. Once scored, players can detonate the device to eliminate the entirety of the enemy team.
The DNA bomb slightly differs from the MGB, a killstreak first introduced in MW2 (2022). Instead of the game coming to an early end, the match continues.
How to get MW3 DNA bomb
The only way to obtain the DNA Bomb is by getting 25 weapon kills without dying, five less than the MGB. To avoid any confusion, Sledgehammer Games has deactivated the MGB streak with the launch of Season 4.
The MGB was MW2's major killstreak, so it makes sense that Sledgehammer wanted to implement one of their own to their game, even though we are a bit on the late side of its yearly cycle.
Stay tuned to the site for more Call of Duty as the focus starts switching to the launch of Black Ops 6 now that the first trailer has finally been released.
