Marvel Rivals adding MCU skins was a stroke of genius, giving some of these costumes a fresher and more animated look. Fans have been positive about integrating these outfits, with some saying they look better in-game than in the movies. Expect more outfits from the cinematic universe that will be added over time.

Fans are usually critical of recent MCU costumes, saying they look overdesigned and were made to sell toys. However, the overdesigned costumes do work in Rivals, where everyone is more stylized than normal. This colorful shooter could breathe new life into Marvel and more collaborations with the MCU will help both parties.

Deadpool and Wolverine

The Marvel Rivals MCU skin for Wolverine feels more comic-accurate than a movie tie-in, though fans won’t be complaining. It’s a stellar outfit that most X-Men fans will adore. Even those who watched Deadpool and Wolverine will enjoy how it looks, if not like it more.

Considering how fans had mixed feelings about Wolverine’s base outfit, this accurate outfit should fix their concerns. Seeing this yellow and blue suit in the Marvel Rivals style is what fans were hoping for when Wolverine was announced for the game.

Black Widow

Ironically, Black Widow’s Marvel Rivals MCU skin is her white outfit from the movie’s climax. Like the other MCU costumes, this looks pretty good as a more stylized costume and fans of the character will appreciate seeing it. There’s always more time to add her typical black outfits in the game but this is a solid skin to add.

Aside from offering a cool white outfit, this skin also gives Widow a different hairstyle. If anything, this costume does give Widow some variety in her looks and that’s never a bad thing. We expect this character to get more costumes, given how popular she is in the game.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

This Marvel Rivals MCU skin is arguably the best Spider-Man skin in the game. Despite how NetEase Games has advertised this outfit, this technically debuted in Spider-Man: Homecoming or Avengers: Infinity War. No matter how you slice it, this is a great outfit that should make a lot of Spidey fans happy.

Many Spider-Man fans have mixed thoughts about his usage in the MCU, but his costumes have always looked good. Fans have mixed opinions about his current base outfit in the game, opting to use his Chasm and Scarlet Spider skins, the latter of which is PS5 exclusive. Gamers can add this MCU costume to the mix.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

While most comic book fans know Namor as the King of Atlantis, this Marvel Rivals MCU skin makes him the King of Talokan again. You won’t see any fans complaining about this since Namor was one of the best villains we’ve seen in the MCU. Seeing this reimagined version of the character in a video game will get players talking.

More heroes will be coming to the game in future Seasons. Hopefully, Shuri will be added to the game and she has her Wakanda Forever costume. Until that happens, Wakanda Forever will be represented with dignity by its lead villain Namor.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Scarlet Witch’s new Marvel Rivals MCU skin is one of her most iconic looks. Wanda was beloved by many after Multiverse of Madness and this costume could sell a ton of copies because of that. Yes, Wanda might have killed a ton of people, but she only did it to save her kids.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone if Doctor Strange also gets his Multiverse of Madness costume in future Seasons. The same can be said for America Chavez, assuming that Marvel and NetEase have plans to add her. Whatever the case, Multiverse of Madness is well-represented with this costume.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Unsurprisingly, the Guardians of the Galaxy characters will have Marvel Rivals MCU skins readily available. Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, Adam Warlock, and Mantis will sport their sleek blue uniforms from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. If you feel that their default looks are too busy for your liking, these costumes are a must-buy.

Comic book fans know these movie costumes were inspired by the 2008 comic run by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. While it’s a shame that Star-Lord doesn’t have his iconic mask while in this costume, it’s still a great look. Based on the announcement, fans should be able to use these in Season 0.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor’s Marvel Rivals MCU skin is based on his most recent movie outing, Love and Thunder. While it’s not the most acclaimed film in the franchise, his blue and gold armor looks great in the game. Fans will look as smashing as Thor when they make their foes eat their hammer with this look.

Gamers hoping to see his more Viking-inspired look from the early parts of Thor: Love and Thunder could still get their wish. More MCU costumes are set to be released in future Seasons. Whatever the case, this MCU costume has style in the game.

Loki Season 2

From the God of Thunder to his mischievous brother, Loki has one of the best Marvel Rivals MCU skins thus far. Viewers who watched the Disney+ show only got to see this attire for the last few minutes in the finale. Now, gamers will be able to use this for as long as they like.

Loki sporting his Season 2 look in Marvel Rivals

Both comic book fans and norse enthusiasts enjoy this look for Loki, since it feels classic and doesn’t look too modern. While the God of Stories won’t be overpowered in the game, he will look regal when dishing out damage. Considering how many looks he’s had in the past, this is only one of more dashing outfits for the character thar will be added to the shooter.

Moon Knight

One of the more anticipated Marvel Rivals MCU skins, Mr. Knight is an alter ego Marc Spector has in the Moon Knight series. This suit is more subdued than his default appearance, as the mask and suit combo gives him a distinct look that helps him stand out. We expect many Moon Knight fans to pick this up.

Hardcore fans would argue that this isn’t necessarily inspired by the Disney+ show but by the six-issue comic run by Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey. Either way, this is an iconic look for this character and we’re excited to see it in the shooter.
