Marvel Rivals has proven to be an excellent time on consoles and PC, so being able to play it on mobile has many excited. While the game isn’t officially on mobile devices yet, streaming has given players a new way to play it on phones. Because this is a game that relies on consistent internet, streaming is a great way to play the shooter.

We wouldn’t be surprised if NetEase eventually releases a mobile port of Rivals, given how well games like CoD Mobile have done. The mobile gaming audience continues to be huge and devs will always want to penetrate that market. Until we get an official mobile port of the game, here is how players can try this shooter and enjoy the Season 1 content.

How to play Marvel Rivals on your phone with GeForce Now

Fans will now be able to play Marvel Rivals on their phones thanks to GeForce NOW. NetEase Games has announced that the popular superhero shooter can now be played on this streaming service. Players will need a GeForce NOW account and a Steam account to play it on mobile devices, but that shouldn’t be an issue.

Luckily, there is a free GeForce NOW membership so fans can play Rivals on mobile without much issue. However, playing on the free membership will lead to longer queues, so players might be in for a long wait.

In case fans are not familiar with playing games on GeForce NOW, follow these steps:

  • Download GeForce NOW on the iOS App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android).
  • Create an account, and choose which membership fits your financial status.
  • Once your account has been created, go to Settings and look for Connections.
  • In Connections, link your Steam library to GeForce NOW.

  • After you've connected to your Steam library, search for Marvel Rivals.
  • Once Marvel Rivals pops up, you can now stream the game.

Steam only

The only negative thing about playing Marvel Rivals on mobile is that only Steam owners can use it through GeForce NOW. While the streaming service does allow players to play Epic titles through cloud gaming, Rivals isn’t one of them. Steam users won’t be bothered, but those who have all their progress on an Epic account might be annoyed.

Epic players may want to stick with their gaming computer or use a powerful PC handheld like the ROG Ally X. Otherwise, they can just make a Steam account and download the game. Both of them are free, so it’s not the end of the multiverse to download them both on your phone.
