M80 have become the first team to move to Gamers8's semi-finals following their victories against G2 Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Both maps followed a similar script, with the Brazilian-majority roster winning the first and third maps but losing the second.

M80's first victory of the day came against the current world champions of G2 Esports. The North America League roster kicked the series off with a 7-4 win on Villa that was followed by a 4-7 defeat on Kafe. Eventually, M80 would move to Group A's Upper Bracket Final after their 7-5 win on Clubhouse.

Against Ninjas in Pyjamas, M80 started with the right foot as they won on Border by 7-2. However, the NAL roster struggled on Villa as the ninjas sent the series to map three after a maximum overtime victory. Finally, M80 reached the semi-finals after a 7-3 win on Chalet.

William "Spoit" Löfstedt's 1v2 clutch on round nine of Chalet was crucial for M80 as the team moved to series point. Then, Ninjas in Pyjamas tried to surprise M80 with a Blitz rush. Unfortunately for the Brazilians, it didn't end well.

Precisely, both teams met on Chalet on Apr. 2023 in the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen. Back then, the ninjas defeated M80 by 7-3.

It's also worth mentioning Matheus "Budega" Figueiredo's presence on stage, as he made his return to official competitions following his ban in the Six Charlotte Major.
