FURIA Esports and Bleed Esports qualified for Siege's Esports World Cup playoffs after defeating DarkZero Esports and FaZe Clan, respectively. Curiously enough, both matches ended in maximum overtime results.

Both rosters have joined Team Liquid and Team BDS in the Esports World Cup playoffs, who topped the standings in Group A.

The Six Invitational 2024 champions were the first to clinch a playoff spot despite the struggles against the Americans on Border. After being against a rock and a hard place, the Brazilians forced the overtime and ended defeating the purple roster thanks to a Frost trap in the team's seventh defensive round of the game.

Meanwhile, Bleed Esports upset the Six Invitational 2024 grand finalists with a maximum overtime victory on Nighthaven Labs, with Wu "Reeps96" Weichen stealing the show in the final round of the series after grabbing three kills. With this result, Bleed Esports have secured a first main stage performance and have temporarily become the only Asian roster to clinch a spot in the Esports World Cup playoffs.

Tomorrow, the Lower Bracket teams will have a second chance to qualify for the Esports World Cup playoffs. It's worth mentioning that playoff-bound rosters will secure US$80,000 and 60 Esports World Cup Club Points.
