Fortnite's Halloween event Fortnitemares has finally been confirmed to be launched in Epic Games' title on October 9.
Fortnitemares allows players to celebrate the spooky season in Fortnite as Epic Games customises the island with Halloween elements like pumpkins, spiders, skeletons, as well as changing some map locations based on the collaborations released during the event.
For instance, Epic Games have already changed some map locations based on their recent collaboration with Netflix's show KPOP Demon Hunters. More locations will surely be tweaked ahead of Fortnitemares arrival, which will be followed by the highly-awaited The Simpsons' season.
While Fortnitemares is a yearly event and the whole community knew about its existence, the release date for this year's edition was yet to be confirmed. Fortunately, Epic Games have finally announced that Fortnitemares 2025 will officially kick off on October 9.
Fortnitemares 2025 will be like no other. Including over 25 collaborations, Epic Games will add a wide range of collections to Fortnite, including Doja Cat and Scooby Doo, for example.
It's believed that Epic Games will release two waves of skins to Fortnite, the first one on October 9 and the second on October 23. For instance, a Poppy Playtime collaboration should be released to Fortnite in the second skin wave of Fortnitemares 2025.
