While the start of week 5 quests was slightly delayed, new weekly and story quests are now available for players to tackle. One such quest tasks Fortnite fans with using a zipline and an ascender in the same match. Doing so will reward you with 20k XP.
Ziplines are easy to spot, and almost every player uses them in a match. The same goes for ascenders, although perhaps you don’t know them by that precise name, which is what is causing much confusion.
What are ascenders in Fortnite?
Ascenders are essentially vertical ziplines. They’re just as common as the latter; players are simply not used to calling them ascenders.
