Where to find gold veins in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
As we've mentioned, you can track the quest, giving you a general location you need to land. In this case, you'll need to head over to Shiny Shafts.

Once you land at the facility, look for gate number two. It should be relatively easy to spot. This is the easiest route to the gold veins we found.

Once you find the door, enter the area and head to the left side of it, where you'll have another section with a rail to grind on. Alongside it, there will be abandoned heavy equipment. It's easy to spot.

Use your pickaxe to break down the wall. It will take a few seconds so be sure to clear the area and loot first to get yourself sorted in case enemies come snooping around.
Once you're on the other side, you'll find all the gold veins you need to complete the quest.
How to mine gold veins in Fortnite
You don't need a special tool or weapon to mine gold veins. Simply pull out your trusty pickaxe and chip away at them.

To complete the quest you need to mine five gold veins. You'll easily find them at the spot we've highlighted so don't worry about going looking for more.
Of course, there are more places you'll be able to find gold veins but this was the fastest method we could find as it leads you to all the necessary veins to complete the quest.
