Reven ECLUB and Soniqs have started with the right foot at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen with victories over NORTHEPTION and LAVEGA Esports, respectively.

Ironically, the European-majority roster has given LATAM the region's first-ever win at an international competition. Although NORTHEPTION kept up with Reven's early pace, the Japanese couldn't break through their opponent's defenses. Eventually, the LATAM League roster secured the win with a perfect defensive record.

Reven ECLUB's duo, Runner and Draw, were the best players in the match with 14 and 10 kills, respectively. Meanwhile, ShuReap was the best for NORTHEPTION, as Nina went unnoticed with only seven kills.

Meanwhile, Soniqs defeated LAVEGA Esports by 7-2 on Clubhouse. After going 5-1 ahead when swapping roles, the North American lineup only needed three rounds to defeat their opponents.

Ben "CTZN" McMillan was the best player of the match as he led his teammates with 13 kills, as Pablo "Gryxr" Rebeil and Shaun "Gunnar" Pottorff followed with nine and eight, respectively.

It's worth noting Jang "dmaly" Hyun-Jun's efforts, as he finished the match with ten kills to his name and the first ace of the tournament.

These results mean that NORTHEPTION and LAVEGA Esports will meet later today in a BO3 series where the loser will be sent home. Meanwhile, Soniqs and Reven ECLUB will face off on Wednesday for a chance to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen Phase 2.
