EDward Gaming have qualified for the Valorant Masters Bangkok after taking down Bilibili Gaming in the Lower Bracket Final of the VCT 2025 China Kickoff.

The Valorant Champions 2024 were surprisingly pushed down to the Lower Bracket on January 20 after a surprising 0-2 defeat against Trace Esports. Two days later, the Chinese side was three rounds away from being knocked out by the recently-promoted XLG Esports.

However, since EDward Gaming's narrow 13-10 win on Bind against the VCT 2024 Ascension China champions, the team secured back-to-back flawless wins on Haven in the third map against XLG Esports and the first map against Dragon Ranger Gaming.

Against Bilibili Gaming, the Valorant Champions 2024 completely dominated the series as a narrow 14-12 win on Pearl was followed by 13-6 and 13-5 wins on Haven and Lotus, respectively.

With this result, EDward Gaming has joined Trace Esports in the VCT 2025 China Kickoff grand final, which will be played on January 25. The winner of the match will lock China's first seed at the Valorant Masters Bangkok and will secure 3 China Points that could be differential in the race towards a potential Valorant Champions 2025 spot.
