The BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen champions, w7m esports, have reached Atlanta's semifinals after defeating the tournament's dark horse, Geekay Esports.

The Brazilians kicked off the series with a one-sided victory on Bank. After a flawless first half on the defending side, the Saudi Arabian-majority roster won the following four rounds. However, when the fans started to believe in the team's chances of sending the map to overtime, the Copenhagen champions closed Bank with a 7-4 win.

Geekay Esports' chances of qualifying for the semifinals got very slim all of a sudden, with Clubhouse being the second map of the series. While that's the Brazilians' best map, the MENA roster had previously defeated the Bulls there in Phase 2. Surprisingly enough, Geekay Esports repeated the final result (7-4) and took w7m esports to Oregon.

Unfortunately for Geekay Esports, w7m esports' defensive performance on Oregon couldn't be topped. By round seven, the Copenhagen champions already secured series point. Three rounds later, João "Jv92" Vitor's clutch in round ten qualified w7m esports for Atlanta's semifinals.

With this win, w7m esports have qualified for every one of the last four Six Major semifinals, as they reached the Top 4 in Berlin, Jönköping, Copenhagen, and Atlanta. Moreover, the team finished in second place in the Six Invitational 2023 and reached the Top 4 of the Gamers8 2023.

Meanwhile, Geekay Esports' performance in Atlanta means that the MENA region will send two teams to the Six Invitational 2024 as the blue roster will be joined by Team Falcons, who reached Copenhagen's Phase 2.
