Just in time for the release of Squid Game 2, Call of Duty is having a collaboration with the popular Netflix show during Season 1 reloaded. This crossover will result in new content for Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
While we wait for the content to arrive, we have gathered all the information revealed so you have an idea of what's coming to both titles.
Release date
The Call of Duty and Squid Game collaboration is set to arrive sometime in January 2025. A specific release date hasn't been announced but the content should be added before January 28 as that's when Season 1 ends.
Teaser
A teaser trailer for this collaboration was revealed at the end of the fourth COD Podcast episode and here it is in case you haven't seen it:
New skins and cosmetics
First and foremost, this Squid Game collaboration will bring new operator skins that look exactly like the guards from the show, wearing the distinctive red outfits with black masks.
Judging from the image, we will see more than one skin variation. It is unclear if the event will add any new operators or if all the skins are for currently available operators.
These won't be the only new cosmetics as weapon blueprints, emotes, and more will also be added.
Game modes
The Call of Duty blog indicated that the event will bring limited-time game modes to all three major modes (Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone).
Details on these modes haven't been revealed so we will have to wait until we are closer to its release to know more about them.
