Here's a brief look at today's North America League 2024 Stage 1 matches!

LOS vs. Soniqs

LOS will make their debut in the North America League later today against Soniqs after moving their operations from the Brazil League. Despite moving to the United States, the team has brought a full Brazilian roster including the former Team Liquid IGL Thiago "xS3xyCake" Reis.

The Brazilians' debut will come against the Six Invitational Top 6 side Soniqs, who made two roster changes before the start of the new season as the organization parted ways with Ben "CTZN" McMillan and benched Pablo "Gryxr" Rebeil. Instead, Soniqs added Bryan "Merc" Wrzek and Atom to the roster.

M80 vs. Mirage

Ben "CTZN" McMillan and William "Spoit" Löfstedt will make a first appearance together later today against Mirage as M80 have created another super roster. M80's new roster also includes Gabriel "cameram4n" Hespanhol and Adam "nudl" Hryceniak. With four imports on the team, the green roster are expected to keep their consistency in the region.

Meanwhile, Mirage squad is Team SBL's roster as the players won't have contractual obligations with the Owls organization, according to a recent statement. The squad includes a variety of talent from the region, including three former top flight players Connor "Azian" Felux, Jason "Ryce" Ngo, and Chriss "Spiff" Park and two rookies in Nick and Callum "Poison" Keegan.

Spacestation Gaming vs. Wildcard Gaming

Spacestation Gaming welcomed David "iconic" Ifidon from M80 and put together four of the five players that finished in fourth place of the Six Invitational 2023 with Astralis.

The American organization will meet with two former astonauts in today's match as Dylan "Bosco" Bosco and Nathanial "Rampy" Duvall are two of the five new players in Wildcard Gaming.

DarkZero Esports vs. Luminosity Gaming

DarkZero Esports' super team is back to action today as the purple squad will play an official match for the first time since their defeat against G2 Esports at the Six Invitational 2024.

All eyes will be on Nathan "Nafe" Sharp, who will make his North America League debut. Additionally, Jason "Beaulo" Doty will represent DarkZero Esports for the first time in America's top-flight.

Meanwhile, Luminosity Gaming's new roster includes two rookies in Kile "Wifi" Galati and Julian "Kixhro" Velázquez, whose signings were announced on Mar. 13. The team's third signing was the former Beastcoast player James "Hat" Taylor.

Beastcoast vs. Oxygen Esports

Beastcoast and Oxygen Esports will face off in the final match of the day. Following the transfer window, only two players remain from the rosters that both organizations had in their final matches at the North America League 2023. Therefore, watching how these teams perform today will be crucial to have an idea of what to expect from both squads.

It's worth noting that Zachary "SpiriTz" Dionne will be playing against three of his four former teammates at the Six Invitational 2023, as Evan "Yoggah" Nelson, Lucas "DiasLucas" Dias, and Arthur "GMZ" Oliveira competed alongside the Canadian under the XSET and M80 banner.
