Format

The BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen follows a Swiss-system format.

After the first set of games, a team that has won the initial round will play against a team that has also won its game. Meanwhile, a team that has lost the first match will play against a team that has also lost its game. Plain and simple, teams will only face rosters with the same record of results.

After the first two matches, the two teams with a 2-0 record will face off. The winner will qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, while the loser will play against a team with a 2-1 record in the fourth round.

All of the matches will follow a BO1 format. However, teams will play a BO3 series in elimination games. This means that the first BO3 series will come out of the game between the first two teams to get to two losses.

Although it looks difficult to understand, it's very simple: the eight teams that get three wins will move to the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen Phase 3.
