Black Dragons signs nade, freezao, and thug

Black Dragons’ signs last Kids Team prospect left to make top-flight debut, rebuilds staff team with two new members.

Brasileirão team Black Dragons has signed ex-Santos eSports duo Igor “freezao” Silva and Bruno “thug” Ferreira to rebuild the roster’s staff team. This followed the departures of Igor “Vivas” Vivas to XSET, and Henrique “sSeiiya” Sanchez. Meanwhile, Brazilian prospect Felipe “nade” has signed as the team’s fifth player following Vinícius “live” Monteiro.

Black Dragons has been giving youth players the chance to prove themselves in the Brazilian top-flight division, arguably the best in the scene right now. In Stage 2, the team signed Vitor “peres” Peres and Pablo “resetz” Oliveira who both had convincing debuts. resetz’ performances during the stage ended up with the Brazilian signing a contract with Team Liquid, and has already had his international debut.

Then the team signed another rookie to fill resetz’s space once he moved to Team Liquid, as it was then when Guilherme “Bassetto” Bassetto joined the squad.

Now, another inexperienced player joins the team. However, he is a well known player in his country of origin, as he shared a team with current Brasileirão stars Diogo “Fntzy” Lima, the ex-Ninjas in Pyjamas and BD player Wagner “wag” Alfaro, and the same resetz when playing for KIDS TEAM at the 2020 Liga Six, a competition which back then allowed underage rosters to compete. The team did not qualify for the following Challenger League due to not meeting the age requirements.

Alongside him, ex-Santos eSports members freezao and thug have signed to work together on the coaching side. While freezao is expected to work as coach, thug will be the team’s analyst.

With this roster, Black Dragons will be fighting to return to international competitions. It truly is a very young roster with not much experience, especially after the previous staff team departure. Nevertheless, if a competition has impressed viewers for the talent of its youth, that’s the Brasileirão.

The expectations are high, and we could see this roster fighting among the best in the region.
