Brasileirão caster Geo Collins today revealed the cessation of the English-language broadcast for the Brazilian top-flight league.
The decision implies that hosts Liam "Chunks" Desposito and Riley Knight, as well as Geo's co-casters Ollie "XRTROIKA" Hatton and Harry "Demo" Dempster, will also not be returning for the start of the 2022 season.
It is currently unclear why the decision was taken, or if there will be the provision of community-driven English casts for the BR6 matches.
In 2021, Brazil was the most successful region in terms of results. Ninjas in Pyjamas had won the Six Invitational 2021 in May, and were followed by Team oNe and FaZe Clan's victories in the August and November Majors.
The BR6 also had the second-highest number of average viewers in Stage 3 of the 2021 season, behind the EUL, with broadcasts in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
