Who will take EU's final spot?

The Six Invitational is the biggest event in the Rainbow Six Siege Global Circuit's competitive calendar, and only the best teams earn invitations. Four teams from each region are chosen for their exploits during the regular season, and the final four will earn their spots through the last chance qualifiying tournaments.

Europe's Closed Qualifier is here, and there are bound to be fireworkds. MNM Gaming, Team Vitality, cowana Gaming, and Team Secret will compete for the final spot the European region will receive for the Six Invitational.

Who are the teams?

Four teams will be competing this weekend for the last European spot in SI.

Team Vitality
MNM Gaming
cowana Gaming
  Team Secret

Vitality have seen very consistent improvement over the calendar year that culminated in a spot at the Sweden Major. They were bounced out of the tournament in the group stage, but making the Major in of itself is an accomplishment considering how far they looked from being solid.

Out of all the teams in the Qualifier, Vitality have the most international experience over the past year: they're the only team to qualify for an international event out of the four team field.

Cowana Gaming are going through a season of change, but have been very consistent in regional play over the past year. They've been on the precipice of success, much like Vitality, but due to the postponement of SI 2021 were not able to make an international event.

The field doesn't just include 2021 EUL rosters. MNM Gaming is here, a now-former EUCL team that qualified for EUL during relegations. They're an eclectic mix of incredibly young mechanical talent with some veteran leadership thrown in for spice. No matter how they perform here, you'll be hearing more about MNM over the next year -- this roster is set to make waves in EUL.

Team Secret has seen a revitalization after the first open qualifier. They fought their way out of relegations, and fought their way into the Closed Qualifier as well. If they make SI, it'll be one of the biggest turnarounds of the year.

The tournament is a double elimination bracket with all best-of-threes until the grand final, which will be a best-of-five.
