Six Invitational 2022 moved to Sweden, no audience, co-streaming allowed

The Six Invitational 2022 has been moved to Sweden due to Quebec's renewed regulations.

Ubisoft has announced that the Six Invitational 2022 has been moved from Montreal, Canada, to Stockholm, Sweden. This decision comes due to the "renewed regulations and event restrictions in Quebec, Canada."

Despite the event being moved, the dates will remain the same. The Six Invitational 2022 will be played from Feb. 8 to 20 in a "LAN environment following strict sanitary measures", which also means that no crowd will be allowed.

It is not all bad news. In that same announcement, Ubisoft has announced that "for the Six Invitational 2022, we are opening opportunities for selected streamers and content creators to provide an extra viewing experience of the competition on their own channels for fans around the world to enjoy." This is something that various personalities in Siege have been asking for a long time.

Ubisoft also admitted to being working with "third parties" to hold "watch parties with sanitary protocols."
