According to an announcement from the Delta Project Twitter account, DP will be parting ways with Andrey "Andreezy" Baviyan and adding Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen in his place.
The move reunites Kantoraketti with long-time teammate Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten, who serves as the face of the organization as well as a player.
Fabian and Kanto were a part of the legendary PENTA Sports - G2 core. Together, they won Six Major Raleigh, Pro League Season 8 Finals, and Six Invitational 2019. Kantoraketti was not on the team for the G2 core's inaugural SI victory in 2018, but played a key role in the team's success after he was acquired from ENCE.
Andreezy was a long-time Virtus.Pro analyst who stood in a handful of times for the roster. He joined Delta Project in Aug. 2021 and played for the roster until today.
