The Thai APAC South squad of Elevate has qualified for the Six Invitational 2022 after two wins in the APAC Playoffs Stage 3 today. While not yet qualified for the Sweden Major, Elevate's 960 SI Points in the global standings mean they have qualified to an international event for the first time.
Elevate's qualification came after the team defeated CYCLOPS athlete gaming 7-4 in the Upper Bracket Quarter-Finals of the APAC Playoffs, and GUTS Gaming 7-5 in the Upper Bracket semi-finals.
To qualify to the Sweden Major, Elevate will have to win its Upper Bracket Final game against either Dire Wolves or Chiefs ESC on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
Elevate will join Team Liquid, Team oNe, BDS Esport, and NAVI as one of the teams already set to attend SI 2022.
There are still 15 spots up for grabs in the tournament; four will come from qualifier tournaments, with 11 others to first be pulled from the SI Points standings.
