Brasileirão 2019 - Black Dragons e-Sports vs INTZ eSports Club
While many of us will be watching the Vegas Minor next Sunday, the Brazilian national league will see its fourth and fifth-placed teams face off as we near the end of the season.
With the top four teams qualifying for the Finals in São Paulo in July and with only two games per team remaining after this week, this game will likely be key in deciding which half of the table each team sits in by the end of the season, and whether or not they will be represented at the biggest stage of Brazilian R6.
Furthermore, this game has an added interest thanks to Muringa leaving Black Dragons for Team Liquid and GdNN1 suspended following a series of match-fixing accusations, meaning that there are two empty spaces on the roster that will need to be filled before this matchup. This means that their game against INTZ will be the debut for two players on the roster and so will be a good chance to see exactly what lineup we can expect for Black Dragons in Season 10 of the Pro League.
As usual, there is also a second game happening this week in the BR6 league between Immortals and ReD DevilS in what’s practically a must-win to keep Immortals’ title hopes alive. The roster sits down in sixth, four points behind the top four, with the gap possibly widening to six points after the earlier matchup. This means that if Immortals wish to make it, they need perfect results across their remaining games against RDS, INTZ, and paiN, and also need to rely on bad results from other teams.

Masters League Season 2 - LAN Finals
The Finals of the Polish National league will take place in Warsaw this weekend, with zł20,000 (€4,700) up for grabs between the top four teams who made it there via two GSL format groups.
The favoured team coming into this event was an altered Natus Vincere lineup, which included Saves, Doki, and Kendrew from the newly promoted Pro League team, along with the two Polish players of iqorex and Krzok to ensure the roster maintains a Polish majority. The team, however, saw Doki and Kendrew be replaced by iqorex’s teammates from Team GamerLegion, namea and Rotko4, before the LAN Finals, moving the team under that organisation. This makes the team a huge unknown factor opening up the competition for the three opposing teams.
Facing this roster in the first round will be the three times Challenger League lineup and Saves’ ex-teammates from PACT, who currently hold the Polish national title, with many people expecting this to be the deciding matchup in the tournament. On the other side of the bracket sits Invicta Gaming, which made it to the LAN Finals during Season 1 while known as Valkiria Esports, as well as GoSkilla Poland, which includes Mekses, who finished last season in second place, and Maunikrip, best known for his Benelux League Season 1 appearance on Flash Point Esports.
The tournament will see these four teams face off in a best-of-three map double elimination bracket with a best-of-five grand-final -- one of the best formats seen in competitive Siege. The games will be played over the weekend in the Polsat Games Studio in Warsaw, the same venue as the Season 1 Finals, and will be cast by the Pro league spectator of Marcin "Marciu" Prusinowski, Tomasz "Magvayer" Filipiuk, Karol "Alban" Pakosz and "SeBoL" on the rainbow6pl Twitch account.
Spain Nationals - x6tence vs Giants Gaming
The league favourites and ex-Pro League lineup of Giants Gaming will face the league leaders in x6tence this week as we reach the busiest week in the Spanish Nationals season.
Due to delayed games, this coming week will have three playdays on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday totalling nine separate games. The highlight of these will see Giants Gaming, a roster made up of four players from the gBots roster which was in the Pro League from Seasons 1 to 5, face off against x6tence, a roster led by another ex-gBots player in weskeRR. This game will be crucial to determining the standings by the end of the season and is a great chance to see whether the constantly hyped up roster of Giants Gaming is, in fact, the top of the league as many expect them to be.
The day prior to this Giants will be playing another key game against another one of their ex-teammates in Team Queso. Queso currently sits in the fifth position, three points behind of Giants Gaming, and contains the player of Scythe who’s best known for his time with the core of Giants Gaming on Reborn during Season 7 of the Challenger League. The team has already had a very mixed season so far having defeated the defending champions of Movistar Riders but losing to the sixth place team of the Wizards Esports Club. This week is now their chance to push up from the mid-table and become a main challenger within the league as we pass playday 7 of 18.
PG Nationals Summer 2019
Finally, we have the PG Nationals tournament starting on Tuesday, which seems to be a non-ESL ran replacement to the ESL Italia tournaments that have acted as the Italian national events over the last two years. The PG Nationals contain the very top teams in Italy who will play in a round-robin best-of-one map league, with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs ahead of the LAN Finals.
The clear favourites for this tournament will be the three-time Italian champions and ex-Challenger League roster previously known as EnD Gaming. However, since the last Italian nationals, the roster has changed significantly. Three Italian players left to be replaced by their ex-player Sloppy, the Swiss ex-Mock-it player BakaBryan, and the British ex-Epsilon player of Blurr. Aside from this, they joined a new organisation in Mkers and acquired an American coach, Bagel, making this a truly international team.
Attempting to take the title of the reigning champions will be Cyberground Gaming with another heavily altered roster, including the ex-Pro League player of waNted and the ex-EnD Gaming player of Pyro. The games will kick off later tonight on the pg_esports Twitch channel cast by Filippo “Etrurian” Burresi and Valentino “Lordchanka98” Allegri from 7 PM CEST onwards.
