A new currency called Costume Coin has been added to Marvel Rivals with the latest update. This is represented by a green coin, and many will start to see it in the game's shop, as some skins can be acquired with this.
Given that 1 coin can be used to buy certain shop skins, many will probably want to get their hands on one of them. Here is everything we know about the currency and how to obtain the first one available in the game.
How to get Costume Coins?
The Costume Coins were first added with the Shou-Lao's Blessing event in Season 4 of Marvel Rivals, and the first way to obtain this currency is by completing the event's pass. Players will have to complete missions to progress through each tier, and after finishing the pass, one Costume Coin will be awarded.
This is the only way to obtain a Costume Coin at the moment, given that this currency cannot be acquired with money or through any other method. The event is set to expire on October 9 at 2:00 AM PT (10:00 AM BST), meaning you will have around two weeks to finish all the missions and obtain the major reward.
Once the coin is in your inventory, you can use it in the shop, as some skins will display the green coin icon to indicate that they can be purchased using this currency.
As with other currencies, the coin doesn't expire, and it's a one-to-one exchange, meaning players can get 1 skin per coin. We expect more events to feature Costume Coins as rewards in the future, meaning other opportunities to snatch a free skin will arrive in the future.
