Team BDS have eliminated FaZe Clan of Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup after defeating the Brazilians on Bank and Skyscraper.
The Six Invitational 2024 grand finals kicked off the series with a rock-solid 7-5 win against the Europeans on Nighthaven Labs. However, Bank and Skyscraper would be completely different.
First, the back-to-back Gamers8 champions defeated their opponents in flawless style on Bank. Eventually, on Skyscraper, Team BDS managed to win five of their first six defenses. Three rounds later, the BLAST R6 Major Manchester grand finalists confirmed the win.
Unfortunately for Brazil's fans, Team BDS' victory against FaZe Clan means that the region won't be able to see their four teams in the semi-finals. The Europeans will play tomorrow against FURIA Esports, while Team Liquid and w7m esports will clash in the first series of the day.
Although the Brazilian region is the favorite to take home Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup, Team BDS' efforts can't be ignored, especially considering that they have already been crowned champions twice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
