Fnatic moved to Group A's winners match after a one-sided victory against Bilibili Gaming, which included victories on Bind (13-9) and Lotus (13-3). It was EMEA's second victory in the tournament following Team Heretic's win over FunPlus Phoenix on the first day of action.
The European roster had no trouble defeating the Chinese squad as they took Bilibili Gaming's map pick in a thrilling match on Bind. However, the second and final map of the series was extremely one-sided, with the orange roster winning nine of the first ten rounds of Lotus.
With this result, Fnatic will play against DRX in Group A's winners match. Curiously enough, it will be the third Valorant Champions in a row where both teams meet. In 2022, the South Koreans knocked out Fnatic after defeating them in the Lower Bracket quarter-finals. One year later, the Europeans redeemed themselves as they were the ones to eliminate the South Koreans.
On the other hand, Bilibili Gaming's defeat means that the Chinese roster will play against KRÜ Esports in Group A's first elimination match. Unfortunately, the loser will be sent home.
