Following two days packed full of Rainbow Six action, the top eight teams have been narrowed down. If you missed out on the first day of play, you can check out our roundup or highlights. During the second day of play, the 16 teams distributed among the four groups were narrowed down to two per group, who have advanced to the Quarter Finals!
Each of the first seed teams will be playing a second seed team in a best of three, single elimination match. Following the final match of the day, the opening matchups were revealed by DreamHack, and they are as follows:
beastcoast vs Disrupt
This matchup pits two BYOC teams against each other, both coming off of an impresive group stage. Disrupt most notably defeated Evil Geniuses and beastcoast defeated both mousesports and Team SiNister.
Evil Geniuses vs Vitality
This will be the only streamed Quarter Final match on Day 3 of DreamHack Austin. Evil Geniuses displayed an underwhelming performance in the group stage while Vitality breezed past both of their opponents in beastcoast and SiNister.
Millenium vs Chaos
In the third Quarter Final, we will see Millenium, who has flown past their opponents with ease, be pitted against Chaos, who struggled in all three of their matchups on their way to the playoffs.
Noble vs Rogue
Finally, we will see an all American matchup between Noble and Rogue. Both teams have shown up during the tournament, losing just two maps (Noble) and one map (Rogue) during the course of the event.
