独占：野良連合APAC Northライセンス喪失

After six months of turmoil, the Nora-Rengo managed to stay in the qualification match. However, after that, he lost all the players on the team and was stripped of the APAC North license from Ubisoft, finally leaving the professional competition scene.

What happened

Former players and staff working at the Nora-Rengo alleged non-payment of salaries, causing numerous denunciations. Ubisoft has since allowed the Nora-Rengo to participate in APAC North and sell R6 SHARE skins, provided that Kizoku, owner, CEO and manager of the Siege division, is no longer involved.

At Ubisoft's direction, Kizoku delegated the duties of CEO and team manager to former Siege team analyst Akidog. He simply remained the owner of the operating company. But recently, Akidogu has resigned and the team has been run by Kizoku again.

Kizoku's involvement in team management, such as signing a new roaster and negotiating with Ubisoft, meant breaking the agreement with Ubisoft, which led to the confiscation of the league's license and the removal of the R6 SHARE skin. ..

The Nora-Rengo lost the license for APAC North in 2021, so it is likely that another Japanese team will play in the league instead.

For the sake of clarity, we will describe the events in chronological order.

August 26

Former Siege team players, coaches and analysts allege non-payment of salaries, and the first denunciation against Nora-Rengo and Kizoku begins. Another analyst claims that Kizoku is spending his company's money on "private uses."

Besides Siege, the Valorant roaster also left the Nora-Rengo because he hadn't received a payment worth $ 10,000. The Wilderness Action team also claimed to have been threatened by Kizoku, saying, "I'll keep you from working in the industry again." Finally, an unidentified but former member of the team claimed that the player was not paid the equivalent of "tens of thousands of dollars a month", and another former staff member was also paid once. Insisted not.

August 30

Four days later, Kizoku retired from the position of CEO of Nora-Rengo and manager of the Siege team. However, he continued to be the owner of the operating company after that.

According to the Nora-Rengo official, the reason for his resignation is the leak of voice that Mr. Kizoku is overly rebuking his former player. Behind this was an agreement with Ubisoft, which allowed Nora-Rengo's APAC North entry license and R6 SHARE skins to be sold, provided that Kizoku was not involved in the team.

September 10

シージチームの元アナリストスタッフでありKizoku氏の友人でもあるあきどっぐ氏が、公式にチームCEOの職を引き継ぐ。後にSiegeGGでもインタビューを行い、入れ替え戦に向けた仕事ぶりをうかがった。そのときあきどっぐ氏は「野良連合は再び世界の場へ返り咲きます」と語っていた。

1月16日

シージチームの選手のうち4人が野良連合を脱退。5人目の選手もその2週間後に脱退した。コーチのAr7hurも数ヵ月前に脱退していたため、野良連合チームには選手やスタッフが一人もいなくなる。

野良連合にはシーズン2021への出場に有効なロースターがいなかったため、2月1日にゲーム内ストアからR6 SHAREのスキンが削除されると告げられる。野良連はUbisoftに対して、2月12日までに有効なロースターがいることを示さなければならなくなった。できなければ2021年の出場資格を失うことになる。

2月1日

野良連合は韓国チームOhHamMaのロースターと契約を結ぶ。このチームには2020年にAPAC Northに出ていた元SCARZの選手が2人いた（UplayIDからこの点は既にリークされていた）。SCARZは昨シーズンにDWG KIAに敗れて降格し、当時のチームメンバーは一部解散していた。

なおこの2日前、野良連合は韓国のValorantプレイヤーを獲得し、韓国人メンバーによる韓国への初参入を試みていた。

またこの2日後、野良連合はVBMのインド人コーチと契約し、韓国人ロースターにつかせた。これは南アジアからプロ級チームへの所属が決まった初のケースだった。

2月8日

Akidog氏が「利益相反」を理由に辞任し、Kizoku氏が再び野良連合のCEO職を引き継ぐ。

これはあきどっぐ氏が、野良連合シージチームのロースターが去った原因を押しつけられ、妊娠中の同氏の妻に対する過度な嫌がらせ被害を受けたことを野良連合公式からツイートしてから3週間後のことだった。

2月9日

OhHamMaとの契約書をUbisoftに送るも、Kizoku氏がCEOとして記載されていたことから、Ubisoftは野良連合との契約に応じなかったものと思われる。

この2日後、UbisoftはKizoku氏が公式にCEOとして野良連合に戻り、新選手との契約にも積極的に関わっていたことを確認。チームに関わらないことを条件とするUbisoftとの合意を破棄した形となった。これにより、野良連合は2021年におけるリーグ戦のライセンスは付与されず、また予想されていた新ロースターの獲得もなくなった。

次に何が起きるのか

野良連合はシーズン2021のAPAC Northや、国内トップリーグへの参戦がなくなった。同時に、チームのR6 SHAREスキンがストアに戻ってくることもない。

現時点ではどのチームが代わりにAPAC Northへ出場するのかは不明だが、現状での最有力は、元野良連合のメンバーを獲得したLag Gaming、またはAPAC North入れ替え戦で野良連合と戦った、アニメ『新世紀エヴァンゲリオン』のeスポーツチームであるエヴァ：eと思われる。

いずれにせよ、野良連合が今後シージeスポーツに関わることはないだろう。

シーズン8ファイナルとシックスインビテーショナル2019でベスト4となった世界のベストチームの一柱が、レガシーを築き上げるのもこれにて終了となる。野良連合はその座から急落したが、それでも日本の競技シーンは、Cyclops Athlete Gaming（CAG）の素晴らしいパフォーマンスのおかげで現在は幾分かの回復途上にある。

 

シージeスポーツがよりプロフェッショルな世界へと成熟していく中で、野良連合のような、関与した選手たちを傷つけただけでなく、その強欲な試みによって地に落ちていったビッグチームは、これが最後であって欲しいと願う。

野良連合のロースターはその後、Lag Gamingに加入し、2月7日に令和ゲーミングに勝利してデビュー。3月6日に行われるジャパンナショナルズシーズン3ファイナルの出場権を獲得している。
