Call of Duty Black Ops 6 gives you this gun from level 1, so what's the best XM4 loadout? This reliable assault rifle is a do-it-all weapon that suits all playstyles and maps.
With these attachments, equipment, and perks it will have you dominating the scoreboard or slaying Zombies at will.
Best XM4 loadout in Black Ops 6
- Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
- Fire Mod: Rapid Fire
- Optic: Merlin Mini
This attachment combination provides a big boost to firepower, with added benefits for handling and mobility. There is a slight decrease in accuracy, but as an assault rifle, it's already got good accuracy over range.
The main benefit here is the ADS time, which is reduced by 31%, while fire rate is +9%, bullet velocity is +8%, and sprint movement speed is +7%. The hit to accuracy comes with an increase in kick by 14% and an increase to vertical recoil by 15%.
Equipment
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Field Upgrade: Acoustic Amp
Semtex is the most useful lethal in Black Ops 6 so we always recommend it in multiplayer. It's quick to throw, can stick to walls, and can't be thrown back at you!
Likewise, the Stim Shot is the best tactical equipment in the game thanks to its instant health regeneration which can keep you in the fight much longer.
The Acoustic Amp is a left-field choice but allows you to hear footsteps far better, which provides crucial information and lets you get a jump on your opponent.
Perks
Perks are a very personal part of each setup as they should suit your style of play, but these fit this XM4 build very well.
- Perk 1: Ninja
- Perk 2: Shadow
- Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
This perk combination lets you move around the map without having to worry about noise, equipment, or score streaks.
Ninja reduces your movement noise, while Shadow makes you undetectable to enemy traps and mines. Cold-Blooded makes you undetectable to AI targeting which means overwatch helos or sentry turrets won't take aim at you.
Wildcard
Depending on the map, you might want to use Overkill to add more close-range firepower, but we recommend using Gunfighter. This lets you add three additional attachments to your XM4 build. They should be:
- Magazine: Fast Mag I
- Stock: Heavy Stock
- Muzzle: Ported Compensator
The addition of these three attachments not only nullifies the worse recoil from the initial build but reduces it further, giving you a -12% to kick and -14% to vertical recoil. It also improves reloading time which is crucial to keeping you in the fight.
