Overwatch 2 Twitch drops: How to get them and mid-season 10 rewards

New mid-season drops are now available

Overwatch 2 Twitch drops

The mid-season patch for Overwatch 2 Season 10 has arrived, bringing not only several changes and adjustments but also a new Twitch drops campaign. This isn't the only campaign active at the moment, so there are plenty of opportunities to get some free cosmetics without having to spend a dime.

Here are all the details about the current campaigns active on the streaming platform so you can start earning some drops.

How to get Overwatch 2 Twitch drops?

Twitch drops are in-game rewards players can get by watching a drops-enabled stream for a certain amount of time.

Before you start watching a stream, you will first have to make sure your Battle.net account is linked to your Twitch account. Here are the simple steps you have to follow in case you haven't done that:

  • Log in to your Twitch account.
  • Go to the Connections section of the settings menu by clicking here.
  • In there, scroll down until you see the option to link your Twitch with your Battle.net.
  • Click on the "Connect" button and log in to your Battle.net account. Don't forget that all the cosmetics you earn through drops will go to this account, so make sure it's the one you use to play Overwatch on PC or console.

After that, you are ready to start watching some streams and earn rewards to have more customization options for your heroes or profile.

Once you unlock any drop, make sure to claim it in your inventory page as this is required before you see it in your game.

Twitch drops available

The first set of Twitch drops available are themed around the Overwatch Collegiate Championship Playoffs. Because of that, players will only be able to get them through the official Overwatch esports channels, like  ow_esports.

This campaign offers you the chance to obtain this Season 5 Symmetra skin, which was previously available only through the in-game shop. You will have until next Monday, May 20 at 12:00 am PT (7:00 am BST) to get these drops.
