FearX and CAG Osaka qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Manchester Phase 1 after winning their respective Last Chance Qualifiers.

Following two victories against DPlus on April 20, FearX narrowly made it to the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. The day's first game saw Kim "EnvyTaylor" Seong-soo stepping in for Im "saeyeora" Seung-hwan, which ended in a 7-4 win for the yellow roster.

Eventually, both sides met again in the qualifiers' grand final. Although DPlus started on the right foot with a 7-2 win on Clubhouse, FearX completed the comeback after wins on Oregon and Bank. Unfortunately for DPlus, this defeat means that the organization will miss out on a Major for the first time since the Six Jönköping Major.

Meanwhile, after a fifth-place finish in the Japan League 2024 Stage 1, CAG Osaka went unbeaten in Japan's Last Chance Qualifiers to get the country's second seed at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. The Japanese side made it to England after victories against Crest Gaming Lst, VITE, and KINOTROPE Gaming.
